Anyone seen the Sharp 55R-WP4H & its picture quality while showing the ol GIGO NTSC? (1 Viewer)

I ask because the set can supposedly turn good old NTSC into 540p and 1080i quality images so we "can enjoy our favorite TV shows". I am not doubting it can (without seeing it first-hand), but that's a pretty hefty claim.
But then again, isn't that what the new Toshiba **H81/**HX81's are going to be able to supposedly do, too?

I'm interested in this as well. I've recently read that Sharp uses Pioneer components (not sure about Elite) for the internals and apparently the picture is as good as an Elite. I think it might be the same doubler inside. I know Best Buy carries them, and of course when I popped in to take a look, it wasn't on.
