I am just curious if anyone is doing this for the front channels, and if it's worth the extra cash (how much better does it sound?). I listen to lots of music cd's and DVD-A, but also must keep in mind that I am limited in volume since I live in an apartment. I have a very modest JBL N series speaker package with the N-26's as my fronts, N-24's as my rears, N-center, and the Sony SWAM20 sub. It would be great to hear from others who are doing this with the 1802, as I have been eyeing the POA 5200 amp.

    Thanks,

    R.C.

Given your current speakers and volume limitations, I would say that it wouldn't be worth it for you. If you are itching to spend money, I would think about upgrading the speakers first.
