I paid off all my credit card debt last month. To celebrate I have completed my podcast studio and purchased everything I need to take it mobile. Plan is to attend industry events like CES, CEDIA and @Robert_Zohn ’s shootout and record episodes on the road. I have all I need for me and 3 local guests plus the dial in crew.

I added:
Two inexpensive closed back headphones $60 ea
Beyerdynamic closed back 770 pro headphones with velour cups $150 (and I love my 880 open backs but they can’t podcast due to audio leak)
A second Podmic $100
A Gator Rodecaster travel bag $150
Decksaver cover $50 to keep the kitties off. It was cheaper to have one shipped overnight from England than to buy at Amazon!

I still want to try a Shure SM7B but for the price of one of those I’ve made a really big leap in capabilities

I was always impressed with the Rodecaster and I love the upgrades on the new model. I will probably look at getting one for school.
