Technically, no one should be able to pick this up until tomorrow, March 16. I have it coming to me from Digital Eyes.

I just finished watching it. Very nice anamorphic transfer, but edge enhancement is noticeable in a few high-contrast shots. The new 5.1 sound mix is outstanding, as good as I'd hoped it would be.

Be sure to watch the music video. It features the actor who played the manager, Robert Arkins, on lead vocals. By all accounts (and it's mentioned in the excellent hourlong retrospective), he was the most musically talented of all the people cast in the film but ended up getting the role with no musical contribution. That song is the one featured over the end credits, but many people assumed it was Andrew Strong singing since the band isn't shown.

The song also opens the film...

Too bad the retrospective documentary was unable to include the rest of the "Commitment-ettes" Maria Doyle & Angeline Ball), I would liked to have heard their stories as well.
