I've been thinking of buying this for a Christmas gift, but can not find any reviews as to how good the DVD is. If any of you own it, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

It's beeen a while since I've watched this DVD but I recall that the transfer in certain parts looked great, while in others it didn't. It does have a lot of extras and a very entertaining commentary with the director and Lou Diamond Phillips. I'll have to give it a spin tonight because I don't recall if it's even an anamorphic tranfer. Awesome movie, though!

I picked this one up last summer when Circuit City had it on sale for $7.99

Decent Transfer, Good Extras, (BTW it is anamorphic)

I've seen it at Wal-Mart & other stores recently for $9.99. So if you're a fan of the movie or in your case I assume buying it for a fan of the movie, you can't go wrong at that price.

Thanks for the heads up, I love the film as well, but a friend of mine is nuts for it!

Guess I can scratch another name off my list!
