Anyone own a 2001 Kia Sportage? (1 Viewer)

I was hoping to get some feedback from others on this vehicle. My Mom owns one and has had nothing but problems, just in the 10 days both the alternator and transmission (standard) have gone in it. Other problems have been the heat or lack of it the radiator (replaced) the power windows and others that I can't recall. This vehicle has under 60,000km on it and is driven 80% highway.

Probably at some point they'll get their kinks ironed out and they will be capable of producing a good quality car. Jap companies had the same problem many years ago and now look where they are.

Sorry to hear about your Mom's problems with her Sportage.
