Does anyone know what that hardware that enables you to capture video from tv or other video outputs and transfer them to a DVD recorder? All I remember is it's in a case maybe the size or smaller than a vcr...ran about 200 bucks. It's not the Dazzle stuff...it's something else. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

A consumer DVD recorder would have video inputs. Also, any analog capture card would let you capture AVI, which you can make a DVD from. Maybe you're thinking of an analog-to-DV converter, like the ADVC-100, which simplifies the process, since there's more and more software for going directly from DV to DVD (and it's really easy on a Mac).
