I'm looking for some software that will help me know what to listen for when auditioning speakers and that will teach to know which frequencies are missing or amplified in a speakers response.

You might also try and locate an IASCA Set Up and Test Disc.
it can be oedered at www.iasca.com The site is down right now but the set up test disc has some valuble tracks for setting up systems and for finding tonal problems with speakers.
