Anyone know if Splinter Cell will have an "invert pitch" option?

I just got OXM and the Splinter Cell Demo, and I love it - except for the fact that there's no option to invert the looking pitch. I play all my games with the looking pitch inverted (like an airplane, where pushing up makes you look down) and I just can't get used to it the other way.

Does anyone know if the full version of Splinter Cell will have the option to invert the looling pitch?

I guess if it doesn't I'll just have to get used to it. That game is just too friggin' awesome.

The demo doesn't have an invert option, but the full game is supposed to.

I hope so, I'm in the same boat (or plane, depending on your point of view), I just can't play without inverting. Luckily, almost all games allow this. I'm sure that the full version of Splinter Cell will provide this option, but I'll be buying it (and probably getting killed a lot) anyway.

I have heard from several different sources that the preferences will include Vibrate Normal, Non-Vibrate Normal, Vibrate Invert and Non-Vibrate Invert. Good to know, because I'm in the same position--I love the demo, but it is awfully difficult to get used to a non-inverted control scheme.

I have a friend that always gives me sh*t that I use an inverted pitch. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one!

I always use inverted too. I found the demo very difficult, until I started trying to only shoot out lights and then just knock people out in the dark. When I need to use the gun, though, I always get kiiled, because I either shoot the ground or the ceiling :p)

no i like the default setting too, same with halo, alot of buddies use inverted and i can never get the hang of it...some of my pc buddies invert the mouse on games like quake, and i cant even conceive of how they can play like that!

I'm an inverter also. And also a private pilot, which might explain it. [IMG]

It's like flying a plane. You pull the stick back as if you were moving your head back. I can't even see why anyone could associate moving the stick back with moving your head forward.

It actually makes me ill if I play with the mouse/stick normal because my brain thinks I should be doing one thing and I'm doing another.

Inverted is the only way, exactly for the reason Mike_G stated. You pull back to pull up, push down to tilt down, just like flying a plane.

It just seems more natural that way. I set the pitch back to normal on Bloodrayne tonight and almost got dizzy.
