Anyone interested in trading a Lexicon DC-2 or MC-1 for a DC-1 plus cash?

My DC-1 has been completely reliable and rock-solid for many years, but my system has outgrown the number of digital inputs it provides. I need something with more than four, and the DC-2/MC-1 would be perfect since the dimensions are the same (and would therefore fit into my Middle Atlantic rack) and they run pretty much the same software.

I am open to offers, but was thinking that someone may be interested in the following:

    DC-2 for my DC-1 plus $400

    MC-1 for my DC-1 plus $800

    Brian,
I'm about ready to post a Sony SDP-EP9ES Dolby Digital Processor.
    See it here
This will give you four more digital inputs and a Dolby Digital RF Input. And one Digital out.
It has full Bypass Inputs, then you just use this with your
    DC-1.
    Also offers bass management.
This is a Stereophile class A rated Processor!
    The price will be $295.
Looks and works new, And it's complete with user guide and remote.

    Jerry,

I am interested in that but I have a couple of questions:

-- When you say it has full bypass, do you mean it will pass the digital signal to my Lexicon with no da/ad conversion?

-- I need to be able to control the Sony remotely without "seeing" it (there is no room in my rack). Can I use an IR repeater with it?

    Thanks,

    Brian

    Hi Jerry

If brian does not want it I would like to buy it from you. It would work better for my needs than the SH-AC500D that Kevin has. I posted this morning and he had no problem with that. Let me know
