    I'm curious...

is it true that there ma y be packages there from ten years ago just sitting unopened in a TRU warehouse somewhere? IF so, I'd be interested in buying any NES Toploaders from the TRU Company that still has one in stock [IMG].

They went for, what, $99's back in the day?
It's a long shot, but what the hell [IMG].

I don't think the toploader ever sold for $99. I never bought one, since I already owned a NES (actually, a Famicom + adapter for US carts), but wasn't the toploader the "reduced price" model that came out to entice people after the Genesis started taking off?

You can find a new top loader FS on ebay once in a while (if not now). Unfortunately all they ouputted was an RF signal but had much less blinking screen problems. If that's your concern slap a Game Genie on your games as well as a new 72-pin connector in your original NES and you should have no troubles at all.
