Tried piano as a kid: failed

Tried trumpet in junior hight school: failed

Attempted harmonic, bass, and guitar on my own in the past few years: failed

When it comes to playing instruments, I'm that least skilled and least disciplined person I know.

The only musical instrument I can play is the CD player.

French Horn was my main instrument. Have played most brass, trumpet, baritone horn, alto horn, tuba and even a little trombone. Having gone to a small high school, I played whatever brass was most needed at the time for marching band. I've played mostly in concert band, a little orchestra always at an amateur level HS and community bands.

Oh yeah, a little guitar too, not much though.

I played trumpet actively through college and was in the marching band at Penn State (Blue Band). Nowadays, I only pick up my Bach Stradivarius once in awhile. What a waste of a good instrument. I should play more often.

I played trumpet in high school and college. I started up drums when I was in a group after college. It's fun but I haven't toucher either in several years. [IMG]

I have been playing bass guitar for over 10 years. I have been in a couple local go-nowhere metal bands, but have been in a local 3-piece blues-rock band for the past 4 years.

The picture does not do it justice at all. I have 5 others (none as nice as this) and play them not enough.
Also a little guitar some sampling and such.

Mainly drums and percussion these days, although I used to play bass in a band for a few years. I'm also pretty handy on a guitar (although lead is definitely NOT my forte), and can play some keyboards.

I also enjoy convincing myself that I can sing. Oh, I'm decent and have good pitch, but I don't have a naturally good voice. Our singer sounds amazing just talking on the phone!

A bit of piano, and a LOT of guitar. Electric and acoustic--but mainly acoustic.

Have a Carvin DC-127T koa electric with a Peavey 5150 combo amp, a beater Yamaha acoustic, a Yamaha acoustic 12, a Breedlove RD-W Walnut acoustic (my beautiful main guitar), an Alvarez-Yairi YB-1 acoustic baritone guitar, and a Mid-Missouri A/N style mandolin.

What do I play? Pretty percussive/agressive acoustic stuff, in the vein of Ani DiFranco, Dave Matthews, etc. Lots of alt tunings.

Nice looking Bass you've got there there, Philip. Looks brand new. You must keep it polished [IMG] That frettboard is spotless.

Piano, mostly pop stuff. Would play every day if I had the time. Never, ever get bored with it.
Played drums through high school. Did get bored with it.
Oh, I'm pretty good on the spoons, too. [IMG]
