In the same vein as my Pioneer DV-37 I am doing the same with the Denon on my never ending search of a DVD player...Progressive scan, that is..

I've had two DVD-2800s. One old unit which I borrowed from the store for a few months because they didn't have any new ones, and the new one I have now. The old unit was a january player and had more problems than a 30 year old Fiat, including the powersupply-interference. It had firmware 5208. The new player is perfect. [IMG] No problems at all! It has firmware 5248, but i hacked it to enable region-free mode and prog PAL and ended up with a firmware 2248.
I have never seen the chroma bug. And I have used it on a 150" screen and my 28" TV. I have not tried the progressive mode yet, though. [IMG]
