Specificly, Clandestine, Hollowman, and Wolverine Blues?

In my opinion ,three of the heaviest albums ever released.

Yeah, they're a great band. The albums you mentioned are just great with "Wolverine Blues" being my favorite.

I haven't heard their latest album though, but "Uprising" and the one before that were great too. I love their guitar sound!

Have you heard Nicke Anderson's (the drummer and main songwriter in Entombed) other band, The Hellacopters? They play rock'n'roll more in the style of New York Dolls with a harder, punkier edge, nothing like Entombed. They're great too though.

Weird timing -- I was just listening to Hollowman and Wolverine Blues over the weekend. Indeed some of the heaviest stuff ever recorded. And one of the only bands to record a Clive Barker homage song that actually sounds scary!

I keep meaning to pick up some of their more recent stuff.

I saw them live here in my home town a few weeks ago. I have two of their albums, but I'm not a very big fan.

How do you like the "Left hand path" album, by the way? It's sort of different from their later stuff, more straightforward death metal. I still like it a lot though.
One of the guitarists, Alex Hellid, went to the same high school that I did, by the way. [IMG] I didn't know him though.
