Anyone have 'The Who live at the Isle of Whight' DVD? If so then how is it? I hear that 1970 performace was incredible. (BTW I already bought it blind but wont get it until next week.)

I like it but it is incomplete (compared to the CD). I pretty much concur with Colin's review. It's a great show but a substandard DVD. I'd still buy it though. Now if Warner would just release the complete Woodstock concert!

It's a very good show, but you will like it better if you are prepared for the faults. For example, they apparently had camera problems during the Overture to Tommy, so they just spliced in some random weird angles that probably aren't even from that song. If you ignore the technical glitches and the annoying omissions in the Tommy set, you will really enjoy the raw energy which is what a Who show was all about in the earlier days.
