Anyone have the Japanese HDCD version of Yes *90125*? Thoughts? (1 Viewer)

A store I ventured into today had a bunch of Yes CDs from Japan that were remastered and encoded in HDCD. They were all $30 each, and the one that caught my eye was 90125, as I love that album. I was real close to buying it, but I thought I'd ask for opinions first. How does it compare to the standard US CD? Thanks in advance.

The new Japanese remaster is superior to the old cd version.
Definetly buy it if you love that album.

John, thanks. That's what I thought. I noticed that hmv.com has it for $23 and change, which is a great price. However, once you figure in shipping, it won't be much cheaper than the store I was in today. I will have to grab that CD. It would be nice if the Yes HDCD discs were released domestically in jewel cases. For one thing, they would be cheaper than the Japanese discs. Secondly, I prefer jewel cases to the LP-like sleeves. Thanks again.

Thanks for the heads-up on this one. I've always thought that both 90125 and Big Generator were sorely in need of a re-master.
