My wife may be getting me XM (possibly the Delphi ir Audiovox) for my 40th next month and possibly also the Belkin Boom Box. I cannot tell by the pics on the XM site, but does the back of the Boom box have a jack for an additional antenna in?

This would allow us to use the boom box in her car when travelling (without worrying about dropouts) without getting another car kit, though that is easy enough.

    Just curious.

Can't help with the models you asked about, but I have the Delphi XM SKYFi Boombox and it actually uses a detachable antenna. So it would be usable in the manner you're describing.

I don't have the unit, but it definitely has an external antenna input. There are reviews for the boombox on the xm411.com forums.
