Anyone have standard (Non-HD) Directv with a plasma? (1 Viewer)

If so, how does it compare to SD? Is an ED enough for just Directv and DVDs? I have Tivo and don't want to spring $500+ for the HD Tivo, so I'd like to just upgrade my TV if possible.

As I have been just told, ED is enough for DVDs and non-HD tivo. That was my question that I started asking this past week.

Look in the coupons forum here, or the hd tivo thread in the pvr forum, you can get the HD tivo for around $200 or less after rebate if you are an existing customer. Go to tivocommunity.com and look in the hd forum. There is a huge thread on the price drop. Mine was supposed to be installed today, but they won't have any more in stock til next week. :frowning: There has been a big run on them with the price drop.
