Subject pretty much says it all. I'm interested in getting this little number. I'm going to use it for about 50/50 music/ht. I've heard it's very good for music. I haven't heard much about the HT performance. Dan Wiggins said it would perform very well in my small room when I spoke with him.

The room is no bigger than 14x10x8.

In that room, it should have no problem doing ht/music duty. Well-designed small sealed subs with good drivers like the Shiva can go surprizingly deep/loud in smaller rooms due to their shallow rolloff below resonance.

The main reason for choosing a Rava, though, is not to win an SPL contest at infrasonic frequencies, but for the subjective effect on quality that that shallow rolloff, and attendant excellent transient response, can have.
