Anyone have a few UPC codes handy? (1 Viewer)

hi all -

i'm doing some...ummm...."testing" while at work with dvdprofiler.

i could use a few upc codes if anyone has them handy.

let's go with some popular ones:

1. shrek
2. the phantom menace
3. fight club
4. seven[/list=1]

Mind you, that stores can order movies with different sensor tags already packaged in the movie, so there are several different UPC codes for some movies (TPM is one that I know for sure had several different barcodes).

Should you need to test some more, DVD Empire lists the UPC code in the description for most DVDs. Just remember to take 10 digits, not 12.

yeah, but for some reason, i'm thinking it's faster to use the upc code? dunno why i'm thinking that...

i haven't messed with it in a while and i haven't had a chance to do it at work yet, so i'm not sure.

Ted, another tip -- if you get your hands on the Radio Shack CueCat barcode scanner plus CatNip program, then you can enter those UPCs very fast.
I'm sure if you search the forum you'll uncover a few threads covering this subject.

my brother-in-law has cue-cat. i'd probably go for it, but i only have about 30 or so dvd's...not enough to worry about yet.
but hopefully some day...
