The current soundtrack does not do the film justice. An expanded soundtrack with all the music would be most welcome.Anyone up to the task?

The Rhino CD has more music than the Collectables version, which is like the LP.

And additionally, the Rhino CD removes most of the reverb that drenched the original LP, so it sounds decent now.

I must admit I was very disappointed by the sound on the blu ray. It does not seem to be in stereo or have much if any separation despite the 5.1 listing. I'd be interested in opinions of others on this.

The LP version (as represented on Collectables) included only the last bit of the dance music (when it goes to swing or jazz). The Rhino has it all (as does the blu).

Meanwhile, Petula Clark's other Hollywood musical, Goodbye Mr. Chips, got a pretty comprehensive CD re-release a few years back.

Does this film even still have score tracks available for it?
