Anyone familiar with Wharfedale WH-2 surround speakers...opinions? (1 Viewer)

I saw these at buy.com for $99.99 a pair plus free shipping but I don't know much about Wharfedale speakers.I've been looking for an affordable bipole/dipole and my budget is limited since we just bought a new home and are expecting our 2nd daughter any day now.I would appreciate any oppinions or suggestions for similar priced multipole speakers.Thanks.

Hello Patrick,

I am a huge fan of Wharfedale and consider most of their models to be downright steals. While I have not heard the WH-2's, the polymer woofer design is well thought out and quite capable and the dome tweeters are generally well done...Wharfedale still design and build their own drivers and components, unlike a lot of others. If I were you I'd take a bite.
