I've got a 97' Ford Windstar with a slipping tranny. It bumps when shifting from 3rd to 4th(45-50mph). I consider myself lucky because it already has over 100k miles and still has the original tranny. Since it's paid for, I would like to keep it running for a few more months. At least till I get my H.T. “180 Day Same as Cash” account paid off.

tried something similar on an old Corvair Powerglide back in the early 70s-it actually worked but I traded in the car a few months later--a mistake second only to my first marriage.

Since your trans is already shot it wouldn't hurt to try this stuff. It may not work but it's a heckuva a lot cheaper than a rebuilt tranny.
