Over the next year, Palisades is coming out with 6 series of Muppet Show action figures (coming out every other month for a year... starting in July)... 4 figures and one playset per series. The first is Dr. Bunson Honeydew, Kermit, Ms. Piggy, and Dr. Teeth. There is also a Muppet Labs playset with Beaker figure.
These are seriously some of the best figures I have ever seen.
Here is the full schedule of releases:

Here are some pics of Series 1:

I'm not the biggest muppet fan around but, if they did a "muppet treasure island" action set, i'd lay down the cash!!! I love that movie!!!

They've been out for quite awhile. I've seen all the figures at Wizard World, they're pretty cool, but I wasn't impressed enough to buy them

The first playset is Muppet labs

Yep. Already got Bunsen and Dr. Teeth (I figure Kermit and Piggy will be easy to find for a while, and haven't seen a Beaker/Muppet Labs in a store yet). I love the roundness of them, so much more toy-like than many action figures. I also like that they come with tons of accessories and bases - all figures should come with something to stand them on (that goes double for figures in heels! They can't balance themselves, you know!).

They also did a bang-up job coming up with lower bodies for these characters that don't look real or cartoony but are Muppet-y.

Well... I went to TRU today and got Dr. Teeth, Dr. Honeydew, and Kermit.
Piggy was definately the worst figure by far, so I didn't get her (yet). Now I just need to find the Muppet Labs set [IMG]

    Rob,
    I'm just starting my collection.
Keep in mind Rob, that there are EXCLUSIVE FIGURES by different companies, that are in the same line of series.
such as Vanishing Cream Beeker, Black Tux Kermit, Black Tux Dr. Teeth, Vacation Fozzie, Superhero Gonzo.
Electronics Botique has an exclusive(and better) version of Miss Piggy with feather boa.
I bought Reg Kermit and the last Bunsen at the Toys R Us near me.
If you go to the Muppet news group/discussion forum, you will learn that the series 1's are just about sold out, with no plans of reissues. Bunsen is now the hardest to find.
So, if you want to collect now, now is the time.
Go here for the news group, future figures and such.
The creator of the figures is a common thread poster there, they are talking of muppet movie figures as well.
    http://www.muppetcentral.com/news/20..._figures.shtml
NOW...If your REALLY SERIOUS, strat collecting these babies!!!
    http://www.sideshowtoy.com/muppets/

    Rob or anyone else,
May enlighten us with your wish list/figures you'd love to see from show or movies
Muppet Caper 3 Pk-Gonzo, Kermit and Fozzie in news repoter outfits(Gonzo w/ his camera) maybe (photo of Kermit/Fozzie's dad)[IMG]
Muppet Caper Vehicle- Miss Piggy in white jumpsuit w/ motorcycle
Muppet Caper Vehicle- Happiness Hotel Bus with exclusive Pops
Muppet Caper taxi cab w/ exclusive Janitor charcater(forgot name)
Waldorf & Statler box theater seat playset.
Gonzo with Muppet Show trumpet and stand up frame(the ring frame he stands around as a display of some sort)
the three babies in the carriage from one of the muppet show episodes.

I think I'll get that Piggy from EB (it really is alot nicer!), they are in the B&M stores too, right? I saw Tux Kermit at ToysRUS, but I really didn't like it so I passed.
I got the last Bunsen and Dr. Teeth from TRU, they still had a bunch of Piggy and Kermit. I also saw all the figs at Suncoast (and they had a bunch of each) abiet for $1 more each.
Wow! Those Sideshow busts are REALLY nice... Although $55 each is a little too rich for my blood. I can live with $7.99 each for these awesome Palisades figures [IMG]

Figures from A Muppet Christmas Carol.
    Muppet Treasure Island playset.
and how about some Fraggle Rock figures (I want Dozers! [IMG] )

    Rob,
Fraggle Rock and Labyrinth figures are rumored to come out.
Here are some more hopeful figures
Kermit and Fozzie in Pizza uniforms from Muppet Caper with fake glasses and nose disguise and Pizza box with slip.
and maybe with other Muppet Caper figures they all can have fake Glasses and nose disguise
Miss Piggy in Prison Uniform from Muppet Caper
I also have an idea for a playset display.
The white collum windows that the muppets sit upon, when singing the open song of the Muppet Show.
Have about 12 windows, where you can display your favorite muppets, then have the muppet logo sign above.
then have a EXCLUSIVE GONZO WITH TRUMPET FIGURE that can sit insode the logo, postioned and ready to blow the trumpet.
I'm really looking foward to these CONFIRMED playsets
    Chef kitchen
Pigs in Space playset, with a hopefull ship
Vet Hospital, with Janice, Piggy and Ralph in scrubs
Muppet News Desk with Muppet News Guy figure

I need a Pepe action figure dis instant ok? [IMG]
I love these figures. They can only be found here on import only, but wave 1 can be found in good supply at select specialist stores in London. I got Bunsen last week, and will probably grab Dr Teeth and Kermit on friday.
Naturally specialist importers exploit the niche market. I have to pay about £11 per figure, thats $16 when they cost you guys $8 at local stores in the US. Ugh... Amazon US wont ship toys outside the US either.

Oh, I got Piggy at EB yesterday (they sure were moving those WarCraft3 Collector's Editions). It is pretty much the same as the regular figure except a different color dress, long hair, and a blue feather boa. The boa was a big too puffy out of the box, so puffy that you could hardly see Piggy's head or arms under it! (cutting an inch of fluff on all sides rendered something close to the shot that John posted)
Next up is the Muppet Labs set which should be out at the end of the month (I can't imagine how much that will be imported to England... it is around $20-$25 USD here in the states).

Join the "OFFICIAL" MUPPET FIGURE CLUB!
IF YOU WANT THIS YOU MUST RESPOND IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS, DO NOT WAIT ON THIS.
This will be well worth it!!!

First of all, thanks a TON for the interest you all have shown in
Palisades and our products. Thanks to you, The Muppet Show Series 1 has
been an outstanding success and Series 2 looks like it will surpass
Series 1 across the board. We have lots of great stuff planned for
Muppets, Micronauts and G.I. Joe, some of which you know about and some
    you don't yet.
But, you want the skinny on the Collectors Club, and here it is. We are
starting an official Palisades Collector's Club and you now have the
opportunity to be one of the first members. By joining the club for one
year, you will receive the following:
    * 1 Vanishing Cream Chicago Wizard World Exclusive (with option to
    purchase one more)
    * 1 Final Fantasy IX Plush Vivi Doll
    * 4 Palisades Stickers
    * A special Certificate honoring your membership, signed by Palisades
    President, Michael Horn
    * Membership Card
    * Subscription to quarterly Palisades E-newsletter, with special
updates, photos and news only available to club members
    * Special surprise "Sneek Peek" e-mailings throughout the year giving
you the first chance to see new sculpts or designs or products before
the general public does similar to the one attached...enjoy!
    * As soon as it is up and running, you will have full access to a
special section of the Palisades website that only club members will
    have the ability to visit
    * Full privileges to purchase 2 of any show or regional exclusive we
make (This does not cover retail exclusives.)
    * Special "members only" e-mail contact address for you to suggest
ideas, leave feedback or express customer service concerns at
    [email protected]
We have other things in mind, specifically geared to club members, and
we will keep you updated as we get this thing going. That MAY include
such cool things as exclusives that ONLY club members can purchase. But
this is an evolving group, of which you would be ground floor members,
and we will be counting on you to be patient and help us grow this into
the type of club that YOU want.
I know, it all sounds peachy keen, but the question on everyone's mind
is...what does this cost me? Breaks down like this...
    -One Year US Membership: $30.00
This includes the stuff mentioned above and it includes shipping of your
initial membership kit. Future purchases and/or the extra Vanishing
Cream Beaker (should you choose to purchase one) will be billed with
    additional S&H.
    -One Year International Membership: $40.00
This includes the stuff mentioned above and it includes shipping of your
initial membership kit. Future purchases and/or the extra Vanishing
Cream (should you choose to purchase one) will be billed with additional
S&H. Remember, International Club Members need to send in US funds.
Because it will take a considerable amount of time to get the additional
web software on line and active, the only way to join right now is by
printing this e-mail and sending it in, via regular old snail mail, with
a Money Order. We can't accept personal checks or credit card numbers at
this time. We will eventually get to the point where we can take your
credit card info through the website, but as we've said all along, this
is a brand new venture taken on in response to your repeated requests
for a collectors club as well as the show exclusives and other goodies,
so you are gonna have to bear with us as we work together and get this
    club cooking.
And that's the skinny. I know you will have many questions. Feel free to
write me with any you might have at [email protected] Do NOT hit
reply to ask questions. If you do, odds are you won't get a response.
Use the Since many will be the same questions I will put together a FAQ
based on the questions I receive. Remember, this may take a day or two,
    so be patient.
Bottom line: The Palisades Collector's Club is being created because
YOU, the collector, have demanded it! We appreciate your business and
    thank you for your consideration.
Print this e-mail, clip at the dotted line, fill it out (PLEASE PRINT
CLEARLY or your order may be delayed significantly) and send it with
    your Money Order to:
