Overall, the production was putrid, but there were a few classic "...Vacation" moments. - Eddie sleeping with the dog and all of the fleas jumping off the dog and getting fried on the metal plate in Eddie's head. - Dana Barron returning some of the neurosis to the character of Audrey Griswold. - All of the shots cutting back to the water blasting through the houses window. - Eddie introducing himself to the rich guy in just a wife beater and a speedo. - EDDIE'S 8 OR 9 YEAR OLD SON: Um, dad, I have something to tell you. EDDIE: Your girlfriend? Is she pregnant? EDDIE'S SON: No! Listen, I've always thought you were sort of... EDDIE: Gay? - CATHERINE: Well, were alive and were together. That's worth celebrating. UNCLE NICK: You've got pretty damn low standards. Otherwise, it was pretty awful; far too safe, and the son - Third - was more than annoying.
