It's a No screen Unit for around $90. Looks cheaply designed so I was wondering if anyone has tried one?

I haven't tried, but I read elsewhere that they have undocumented features like playing MP3 from DVD!

Ya know, I was thinking about buying one, but I couldn't find a review or specs anywhere. I found out by calling Koss Electronics (not Koss, it's a separate company) and asked a few questions, but I don't know how it performs. I was impressed that it had component outputs and an optical port. The main thing that turned me off of it was that it's not a portable in the sense that you can run it on batteries - it's AC (or DC with an adapter) only.

    BTW, it's billed as a DVD/MP3/CD player.
