I would like to know how this DVD is. I know everyone bought goonies today. But, I have a few bucks left and am trying to decide what to get. I am a big fan of the original series. Should I get it now or wait and get it used.
    Thanks,
    dan

Actually, I have no interest in Goonies. I did however pick up Batman: The Movie last Friday (several days before street date, but there it was). It looks great, and there's a lot of fun supplemental material, but I haven't actually sat down and watched the movie yet (I have a bunch of friends who want to be on hand for that). I just checked out a quick scene to see if it holds up. I'm happy!
    Holy great DVD, Batman!

Just finished watching it w/ commentary. What a hoot !!!
One of the best DVDs I've purchased. Extras are allright. I wish the Batmobile sequence had been longer.

Just started watching the first bit of it. Excellent transfer and the sound is good even in DD2.0. The commentary track is great as well.
Definitely a keeper and boy is this disc cheap. I picked it up for $15.99 Canadian.

For $12.99 at Circuit City this week, you really can't go wrong if you're a fan of the movie or tv series.

If you have some extra cash because of the Wonka situation, I'd highly recommend spending it on Fox's Batman. Fox rox, enuff said. Great disc!! Holy special widescreen edition, Batman!! Cheers.
PS..12.99 at Circuit Sh*tty makes it even more appealing. [IMG]

I like my DVD alot. I just wish the documentaries had included footage from the TV series, as opposed to reusing movie footage over and over again....

    Fun, fun disc.
Great transfer, extra features and a funny commentary. The sound is nothing special but it doesn't deter from the DVD.
Bought it from Best Buy for $14.99 because I won't go to C.C.

Got it for $11.99 at Coconuts. Great deal.
Great movie, too. Last time I saw it I was too young to appriciate the campiness of it all.

The one caveat that I found was that after watching the movie I REALLY wanted to see the TV series as a box set on DVD. Maybe with Fox doing the POTA TV series that might be closer to truth than wishin [IMG]

Just watched the movie for the first time. My two word review: Ridiculously Sublime! [IMG]
Fun Movie, very funny in a different way than when I enjoyed the series as a kid. Great transfer! My only complaint is, where is Batgirl??? Good stuff, will have to check out the commentary at a later time.

I seriously don't think you'll see more than "Best-of"s for the TV series.
    Warner owns Batman
    Fox owns the TV show
I really wonder how much they paid to put out the movie

Genius, pure genius. I love this disc... Heck, it looks absolutely lovely and I just the those "holy interactive" menus. The whole DVD experience is a hoot, and there's no better movie to catch some superhero punching fist into palm action. [IMG]
