i don't know anyone who has an outlaw 1050 but a good estimate for anythingh that you'll get in the states is to multiply the price by 2.0 instead of 1.6

This takes into consideration tax, brokerage fees, shipping, and conversion.

I've had the 1050 since june 2000. Paid 599USD / total cost to my door $1024 / All taxes included. Only problem so far was with the remote. Received replacement within 72 hours. Have no plans to upgrade but will consider anything Outlaw when I am.

    Hope this helps

    Richard,

What shipping method did you use to ship the 1050 to Canada? And did it arrive in good condition?

    Vince,

Not sure what carrier (believe it was Fed X) was used as it arrived at my office. Double boxed and well protected. Arrived in perfect condition. If you're not the type who requires every new feature (DPLII)it remains a very solid performer, whether you are listening to DD / DTS or plain old stereo. I wanted bang for the buck when I bought it. I enjoy it as much today as when I first hooked it up.
