I just purchased a mitsubishi wd-65735 65" tv. It is a 1080p tv, but do I have to turn 1080p on or will it detect the 1080p signal as soon as my ps3 starts playing a blu-ray? Thanks

all you have to do is go to the PS3 setup menus and find the "auto detect" for resolution and you will be all set.
