This HBO movie stars Michael Keaton and Helena Bonham Carter as the CNN film crew that was in Baghdad during the Iraqi crisis in 1990/1991.

I watched it last night. I thought it was quite good. The entire cast was excellent.

Saw it and also thought it was quite good. They really managed to secure some good talent, and they story felt pretty even handed. I felt like it focused on the situation they were in rather than the politics, which worked well.

I missed it but it's gona be on at least 4 more times, 10th, 15th, and 18th at 9, 9, & 8pm, so those that still wanna see it, "check your local listings".
Do you reckon it'll come out on DVD? I wonder if I should record it.

I liked it a lot. I'm glad that they, mostly anyway, stayed away from the old cliche' of portraying the news team as heros routine. They kept everything on pretty even ground and the movie played out nicely.

That ending was a real stunner too, you could feel what it must have been like to see the entire skyline outside the window exploding with anti-aircraft fire! Scary stuff.

Good but not great...I usually like the war correspondent movies because they give you a behind the scenes look at a crumbeling society (i.e. Killing Fields, Year of Living Dangerously). This one gave you a behind the scenes of the CNN hotel room. Its not the authors fault because they had just arrived in IRAQ when the war broke out. I would have liked more of the "Iraqi street"

I've been wanting to see this for quite a while, and just watched it for the first time last night. I thought it was very good.
