Anybody that says he's a newbie should REALLY buy AVIA as soon as he can. I got it yesterday and am astounded at the amount of information on it. It covers EVERYTHING, it's not just a manual for calibrating. It covers everything you wanted to know but felt it silly to ask.

From what does a banana plug look like for speaker placement to polarizing to proper SPL use (I was using mine with the wrong settings) to how loud you should do your test calibration to perfect to speaker placement in small rooms to why you ned to be ULTRA careful with optical cables.

I started to late last night and can't wait to get home tonight to finish the Audio section. I have not touched the Video yet.

Can't wait to get my AVIA. Just ordered it a couple of days ago. I'm putting off the first official movie party at our house (this is our first HT) until I can get everything calibrated.
