Well I have the M50Ti's and am blown away by them; very good bass, great detail, exceptional midrange and highs.
From what I've read, the M40's are very similar to the M3's, but of course in the larger cabinet giving them greater ability at low frequencies.
From my experience with the other models, I'm sure you'd be very pleased
My question would be whether they're sufficient for music without also integrating a subwoofer (and, secondarily, whether they'd be sufficient in the bass for a bedroom setup for home theater without a sub).
This seems to be the forgotten speaker in the Axiom lineup!
