anyadvantages of a card adapter vs usb? (1 Viewer)

Hi all-

Just wondering if there are any advantages, (besides convenience) such as speed, by using a card type ethernet adapter vs a usb adapter.

I would think (not sure though) a USB adapter would be more cpu intensive. The drivers are probably more solid on the PCI version as well.
