    Has anyone heard:
    When this set will arrive?
What size it will actually be?
How much it's expected to cost?
    Will the 40" be discontinued?
    Thanks for any clues [IMG]

The 50" widescreen 50H81 will be available in late July at a suggested selling price of $3999 Canadian. Dealers are able to place orders now, although all the details on this set have yet to be released.
    Here's a 'sneak preview':

I'm curious about the 540p spec that I've been hearing associated with this new set. Will that be able to still accept a 480p signal? If not, is there such a thing as a 540p player currently?

The link doesn't seem to work.
Can someone post the picture for me? I'm curious about this new set.
    Thanks.

Joel, I have no idea. It would be cheaper for Toshiba to support just 540p/1080i (same 33.75khz frequency), so let's hope they didn't take the cheaper route. Unless of course their scaler is spectacular.
Marc, not sure why you're having trouble, but here's the pic:

    Thanks.
The link works now... it wasn't working for me with 2 different ISPs on 2 different PCs, for 3 days.
