This was released by MGM. I do not think it is part of the Warner Bros. aquisition, but it may be.

I think WB is testing the mainstream silent DVD waters with the Chaplin SEs next year. That being said, it's likely that if they sell well, you'll see the MGM silents put on DVD.

Turner and Kevin Brownlow's Photoplay Productions made a wonderful restored version of the film, complete with a Carl Davis orchestral score. The older LD transfer is beautiful (with amazing quality), so this film needs a lot of attention for a DVD transfer.

Lets just hope they're not inspired by Fox to make silents availible only by purchasing other DVDs.

Turner Classic Movies has shown "The Big Parade" at least 2-3 times this year, so I wouldn't be surprised to see this film on a Warner dvd.
