I'm looking for websites that offer their interpretation on films.
I'm not interested in film reviews (there are enough of them on the net already) just some person(s) essay or understanding/interpretation of individual films.
Some forum members have offered some very interesting essays on certain films (Magnolia comes to mind), and I would definetely enjoy reading more of these.
    Anyone know of any sites?

Please explain what you consider the difference to be between a review and an interpretation? Are you simply looking for a more in-depth review than is typically written?

Salon.com has, among others, some fantastic in-depth interpretations of Mememto and Mulholland Drive. Well written and comprehensive.

Another site, devoted to Hitchcock's films, is "The Macguffin Webpage" at http://www.labyrinth.net.au/~muffin/ . This is a scholarly site that provides indepth interpretations of the Master's themes and techniques. But it is very academic, sometimes too much for me to handle, and I'm a part-time Yale academic by profession.[IMG]
