While returning my copy of "Pi" to it's case the other night, I pressed down to snap the disc back on the holder and the plastic center of the DVD cracked. It isn't actually broken out yet, but there are a couple pieces that could fall out with much more handling.

Is there anything, short of basic scotch tape carefully applied, that can be done to repair this crack in the center? Are there any reinforcements available (like those press-on reinforcements you can buy for the holes in papers that are in a 3-ring binder)? Seems like I recall one of my video rental stores having their names printed on a plastic overlay that went around the center of the DVD. Are these available in some generic format?
