Any suggestions for a portable DVD player (1 Viewer)

I will be going to Fance soon on a long flight from Miami to London to Marseille. I will be visiting family. I have three boys ages 1 year, 5 and 8. Last time I went, my wife was convinced me that a portable DVD player was an unecessary expense. That was a big mistake. This time I am buying a portable DVD player. The screen size will be around 7 inches. To me, battery life is the most important issue. Any suggestions on a model?

Has anybody bought any aftermarket battery packs? What kind and how long did they last? Thanks
