I am going to make a career change. That is what I have been telling myself for 5 years now. Would real estate be a good field? People will always be buying houses, so I figure it has potential to be a successful money-making venture. What is a "typical" yearly income for real estate agents?

Well my dad is an established realestate appraiser in the area and these two fields work closely with each other and I can tell you that 90% of all the work goes to the top 5% of real estate agents. So essentially you have to have your card in the hat for a long time before you actually become succesful. The highly succesful ones in these parts make around 150K but the average joe would probably average 30-45K.
