Any reviews of Shiri yet??? (1 Viewer)

I've looked a bit and haven't seen one yet. Anyone seen a review for the Shiri DVD that comes out in three weeks? AFAIK it is uncut and both dub/sub right?

I don't know about the Columbia release, but the 2-disc Region 0 DTS import is wonderful. The second disc is useless if you don't understand Korean, but the presentation on Disc 1 is very good (it comes with English subtitles).

I believe the upcoming R1 release won't have DTS or deleted scenes, but it will have English and French dubs (as well as the original Korean) in DD 5.1.

The R1 disc looks to have dubtitles and not true English subtitles.

So if you want the correct English subtitles, you might want to pick up the R0 Korean version.

It really pisses me off when they pull this crap. Guess I'll have to start looking for a copy of the R0 release.
