i remember really loving this film as a kid and i just saw the dvd on the rack, but of course its not widescreen.
is it cropped pretty badly? hows the transfer otherwise.
$20 seems pretty steep, but i would love to see this one again.

Holy cow! I thought I was the only one who enjoys this movie! I bought the Hen's Tooth DVD and it is slightly better than the original DVD release (can't remember from which company). You can see a bit more detail in the night scenes this time around. Yes, it is cropped, but I originally saw this in the local movie house when I was too young to care about what the screen ratio of a movie is, so until I see a OAR version (yeah, right) this will have to do. This is no way even half as good as some of the bad DVDs out there, but in such a niche market, its about as good as BOGGY CREEK will ever get. Get it cheap and enjoy the Travis Crabtree song![IMG]

This movie scared the CRAP out of me when I was a kid! I had no idea that a better DVD was available now, so thanks for this thread [IMG]

i picked this up a couple months ago, and it was still a lot of fun.
its a big shame the video looks noticeably cropped at some points, but of course this is the best its gonna get for a long while i would suspect.
now if only somebody would start releasing those Sun Classics like The Mysterious Monsters (sigh).
