Like many of us in the US, I've been enjoying the great deals at CD Wow. I just received my UK copy of The Graduate from them. Although the set is described on their web page (and in online reviews) as having a 64 page booklet, my copy came with absolutely zilch.

I asked CD Wow about this, and received a form letter offering to exchange the title.

My question, though - I wonder if Momentum just stopped producing the book? My copy of Aardman Animations, bought a while ago had no booklet, and apparently it did originally.

So - if any of you have picked this up recently (especially from CD Wow) - did you get the booklet? I'd hate to return this to CD Wow just to get another empty case in return.

Thanks for any help you can give.

    Bad news!!

I just did an order for the UK R2 and did an email
with customer service BEFORE the order to check if
the sale version had the booklet.

They said that they checked and it did have the book!

I am waiting for it in the mail.

I will post when I get it.

I emailed them asking about this, and was told they are sending me a replacement. As its not worth the trouble unless they have copies with the booklet, I asked them about it. I received the reply that they had checked the stock and the replacement would be "all good now."

So - here's hoping. Let us know if your copy has the book, Enrique!

The directors chair series should all have booklets. They're pretty interesting too, I was disappointed when some future releases in the series were cancelled and released as standard editions.

    I have the UK R2 Directors chair for;
    Elephant Man
    Angel Heart
    Sid and Nancy

    All have very nice booklets.

Do you know if any others besides The Gradute
    will have the booklets?

Well, despite supposedly checking their stock, CDwow sent me another copy without the booklet. [IMG] It looks like their copies are probably all without, which I can live with, but they wasted everyone's time by sending me an identical "bookletless" copy. I will email them to suggest they update the description on their website.

I noticed that there is a blank box on the "extra features" grid on the back. I suppose that mentioned the booklet on earlier copies?

Enrique - did you get your copy, and if so, what about the booklet?

It sounds like the Director's Chair
    line is dead.

    Damn,

    They were good booklets too.

    Update:

It looks like Play no longer have booklets either, who knows which were actually released with booklets. About half of the list I gave above seem to directors chair covers.
