Any reason not to go with a 4.1 setup for a gaming PC?

I can afford a nice 4.1 setup like the Logitech Z560 or the Klipsch ProMedia 4.1 for my gaming PC. Will I be giving up anything going with a 4.1 setup as opposed to a cheaper 5.1 system like the Logitech Z-640 or the CL 5200? I'm sure this topic has been discussed before but search function is disabled!

You dont need a center channel for PC gaming. Nearfield listing while sitting at a desk does not require a center channel. 4.1 all the way....

Tom: Thanks for the feedback! I'll probably go with the Logitech Z560, they seem to be the best "bang for the buck". The best price I've found is about $156 shipped from newegg.com, anyone have any other suggestions?
