I see John Rhees version listed over on koehi's site, but the notes say things like it may not work with 1080i and such.

I'm looking for something that is similar to the AudioAuthority or KeyDigital's VGA->component transcoder. Although I'd go with AA over KD because I don't want the dip switches.

Has anyone done this? Is it simple? And what about costs? It may be cheaper to go with AA, but I'm always willing to waste my time/money on doing something myself. It make me feel more like I actually DID something.

    Thanks

Has no one really done this? How about even tried? I'm really curious if it's even worth the time to investigate. It will be ~$100 for a new one.
