I picked up "Wish I was in heaven sitting down" after I heard "Too Many Ups" on a local college station.

I find his quirky mix of styles addictive.

"Nothin Man" has become my personal theme song.

It's good to see there is at least one other fan out there in the 26,000+ members.

RL will be blaring on my backyard deck all this summer as I fill the cooler full of beer.

i loved the interview a while back when they asked him if he felt bad about killing someone (claimed it was self defense but the guy was shot in the back)

he responded, "I never killed anyone. I shot a man; but dying was between him and his god"

Read his obit yesterday; nice to hear he made some money at the end of his life. So many great ones died without a penny.

.....and with 12 kids I am sure it will be needed.

He will be missed

I got hooked on him, believe it or not, by a video they showed on MTV from A Ass Pocket Full of Whiskey a long time ago. I now also have Come On In, but there's still a few other discs I need to get. A unique individual.
