I just put in an order for the Takeshi Miike box set (includes City of Lost Souls, Happiness of Katakuris, and Audition), Dead or Alive (Unrated), Ichi the Killer (Unrated SE), and Visitor Q. I already own Fudoh.

    1) Are the other 2 Dead or Alive films worth a purchase? Are they actually films Miike directed or did he just help produce them?

    2) I am led to believe this guy has made about a billion movies in the last few years. Are there any films that just haven't made there way over to the U.S. yet that are planned for release in the near future?

I know he's made 50+ films in the past 10 years.
    I have/seen:
    Audition
    City of Lost Souls
    Dead or Alive
    Fudoh
    Happiness of the Katikuris
    Ichi the Killer

I plan on getting Dead or alive 2/3 I hear they aren't as good, but I really like Miike, I also need to get Visitor Q.
I think those are the only ones available, but I'd like to be proven wrong.[IMG]

Hey Bill, are those R1 releases, All Region, or something else?

Also, which ones do you really like and where did you get them?

I bet a lot of those are R3 right? Never seen a number of those titles come up on any R1 lists.....

    Mostly something else [IMG]

Some are R1 discs from Japan, others are available as excellent quality 'custom' All-region DVDs...many with extra features.

    All are available on eBay.
