Big fragrance fan here, as sissy as that may sound :) My current faves are the new ones by John Varvatos and Vera Wang for Men. Anyone have other current faves?

That thread is 6+ months old...

    I have several favorites:

    Issey Miyake Summer Fragrance
    Chrome
    Alfred Sung Hei
    Gendarme
    Echo
    Very Sexy For Him
(either the original fragrance or the new one from Victoria's Secret)

A great place to check out frangrances is Sephora, they are in several malls around here and I'm sure around the country, but they also have a great website.

I guess I'm way out of date... I still like good ol' Drakkar Noir. It's gotta be the real stuff too... I've tried some of the knock-offs, and once applied on my skin, I smell like freshly polished furniture. MMmMMmMm! The great scent of Pledge! [IMG]

Sephora is fantastic Jason. I will go in there to sample all the new fragrances. They also have a decent selection of men's skin care products but they don't seem to be stocking it well lately. I have never heard of Very Sex for Him, I'll have to pop in to Victoria's Secret and try it out. I am also a big fan of Bulgari Blu.

Hugo for me. Its the only one I don't get sick of after half a bottle and let go to waste. Nice and light.

Acqua Di Gio, Polo Blue and Hugo Dark Blue. I still like Drakkar too but last time I used it my wife told me "ten years of that stuff is enough!". [IMG]

It may be that I'm gay, but I find Drakkar, Lagerfeld, etc to be way too strong and way too... well masculine is probably not the word for it.

I use to use Acqua di Gio exclusively, but I alternate it now with Pleasures for Men. I enjoy a subtle, sweet or floral scent over something that announces to the room that I have arrived. [IMG]

    Malcolm,

No, I didn't mean to imply that threads expire. It's just that I'm not surprised Phil didn't know about it, nor would I expect someone starting a thread in the Home Theater Forum about cologne, to search prior to starting the thread. If he was asking about the best 32" HDTV to buy, then yes, but cologne... no. [IMG]

Well, I'll jump in here as some one who has a lot of colognes but seldom wears any.... My 8 year old son actually wears something of mine on a daily basis and the teachers ar school all kid him about being the best smelling kid in school....
When I do wear cologne, I wear Paul Sebastian & Chrome for normal stuff but when I feel amorous, I wear Gaultier..... And when my lady friend comes out of the bathroom with Samsara on, I know she noticed the Gaultier!!!

For general skin/shaving care I have used Aramis for years.... Great stuff..
