I'm trying to decide betwqeen it and the Sony27FS13. The Samsung has the 16:9 feature and it is selectable without going into the menu. The sound is very good for a 27in. tv, much better than the Sony. Also, I much prefer the Samsung color(black) and sleeker shape. Finally, the Samsung is fifty dollars cheaper.
However, the Sony does seem to have the better overall picture, though this is hard to be sure about based on a cable feed. And a Sony is a Sony, while a Samsung is, well..
I'm not sure about buying a tv without a proven track record. Any advice would be appreciated.
