I haven't seen this one, but given their track record: MGM + Foreign Film = garbage.

It's a 1.66:1 non-anamorphic widescreen DVD. The transfer is not spectacular but didn't keep me cringing either. The audio is fair, considering there's dialog and some music and not much else in terms of sound. Using Jeff's scale, I'd say the DVD is a notch above garbage, so I suppose we should give MGM some credit. As for the movie — Catherine Deneuve is wonderful in it (IMHO), but the story left me emotionally uninvolved. Obviously, your mileage may vary. I rented it and opted to leave it at that.

    thanks for the replys guys.
Deneuve sure looked fetchng on the jacket, but all the opinions seem to be "not involving".
