I was wandering if anyone uses two different subs in their home theater? i just tried hooking up my paradigm 2200 along with a svs 20-39cs in the same room and i think it sounds alot better with two going at the same time. is mixing two subs that arent the same hurt anything sound wise?

If you don't trust your ears then perhaps use an SPL meter to see how the response is. Cancellation or reinforcment of some frequencies could occur as a worse possible outcome. I get that already with one sub so I don't see any problem there.
If it sounds good.. Use it :)

I use 2 subs , A whatmough typhhon at the front ( Forward firing 15 inch ) and a Klipsch sub at the rear ( Downward firing ). I find that i get fuller bass in movies this way, but tend to upset the wife and neighbours,
